All you need to bring is a pair of swimmers/underwear to change into! Everything else is provided in Sauna!

Determine your comfortable baseline temperature for the sauna, allowing for a pleasant sweat without feeling overly taxed.

Sleep Enhancement:

Set the sauna 5 degrees below your baseline temperature with a calming red light.

Detoxification:

Maintain your baseline temperature and use a soothing blue light for optimal detox benefits.

Weight Loss:

Increase the sauna temperature by 5-10 degrees above your baseline, exiting 5 minutes earlier than usual. Illuminate with a motivating green light.

Pain and Recovery:

Stick to your baseline temperature and utilize a therapeutic yellow/orange light for pain relief and recovery.

Additionally, enhance your experience by connecting your Bluetooth to the sauna, enabling you to enjoy your favorite tunes or podcasts while reaping the full benefits of the sauna.

When utilizing the salt room for respiratory conditions:

Cloths for Respiratory Conditions:
  • Wear your regular clothes during the session.
  • Minimal salt residue post-session.
Attire for Skin Conditions:
  • Opt for minimal clothing to maximize salt exposure on exposed skin.
  • Tip: Shower beforehand to allow the salt to continue soaking into your skin post-session.
Attire for Babies/Toddlers:
  • For infants and toddlers, it is recommended to wear only a nappy/underwear during the session.
  • Our massage lounge is in a private room with 2 zero gravity massage chairs.
  • No therapist is present while you’re having a massage.
  • Yes!! Our massage chairs will rid your back from knots and release muscle soreness in as little as one 20 minute session
  • Come in barefaced and relax, no downtime or discomfort!
  • The light will feel warm, and you will hear the machine while it is running
  • Your eyes will be covered with glasses for your protection.
  • Depending on the wavelength used, you may see a bright light as well (your eyes do adjust)

You must have a skin consult before booking in your appointment to make sure you’re a candidate.

How it works

  • IPL removes hair by sending out high intensity light pulses into the hair follicle, loosening the hair and disabling the cell responsible for new hair growth
  • IPL works best at removing hair when it’s in the active growth phase. But not all hair is in this stage at the same time. So, we spread out our treatments over a minimum of 6 sessions (1/month) to ensure that hair that isn’t treated in one session is affecting in one of the following treatments.
  • Treatments are quick and basically painless

How to prep

  • Do not wax or pluck 1 month prior to treatment as a hair must be present to absorb the treatment light.
  • For your consult appointment it is fine to have some hair growth so that we can assess it
  • You must be fully shaved the day of your treatment appointment
  • You can’t be wearing faux tan 2 weeks prior to treatment

Will I have downtime?

  • You will be able to return to normal activities immediately

Does it work on blonde hair? 

  •  Not very well, this is because there isn’t enough pigment in the blonde hair to absorb the light from the IPL device

Do I need to prep my skin for a peel?

No prop is needed, however it is best to strengthen your skin using a cosmeceutical first.

  • You may experience erythema (redness), mild tingling, warmth, dryness, flaking or peeling
  • Protect your skin from solar damage – we recommend using zinc oxide as it provides potent anti-inflammatory, healing and antimicrobial properties to the skin
  • Keep your skin hydrated during the healing process, we recommend using Vitamin B Serum 24-48hrs following your peel treatment to rebuild the barrier and stimulate ceramide production to reduce water loss
  • A course of 6-8 fortnightly peel treatments is recommended for optimal results

What should I expect post IPL?

  • Cold (not frozen) packs can be applied immediately after treatment to cool the site if required
  • Downtime can be experienced and may be a minor sunburn sensation to a gravel rash effect, swelling, prolonged redness and heat.
  • You should use sunscreen to protect the treated area from exposure to sunlight for at least 1 month following treatment. Tanning after treatment sessions may enhance melanin regeneration which may result in hyper-pigmentation
  • Avoid exposing the treatment site to unsanitary conditions to avoid an infection
  • We advise clients to not participate in rough sports or similar activities for several days following treatment (until the skin returns to its normal condition)
  • Care should be taken to prevent trauma to the treated area for the first 4-5 days following treatment: no hot baths, no active ingredients
  • Treatment areas should be kept clean and moist between treatments. A nonirritating cleanser is recommended.
Follow-up Assessment:
  • Returning 4 weeks after treatment is required for examination of the treatment site and for additional treatments if needed
Treatment Protocol:
  • A minimum of 4 treatments if recommended for optimal results.
  • Group bookings are held for 6 + people, $150 per head.
  • Within your booking you get the entire spa to yourselves to move through our self-sufficient treatments – Infrared Sauna, Massage Lounge, Salt Therapy, and LED Therapy. We provide a grazing platter, collagen shots and herbal tea. BYO alcohol.
  • If you want cocktails for your booking contact Wonderland Cocktails on Instagram, Esther will take your order and deliver to us, we will shake and make for you!
  • Within your booking we will ask you to pair up, and you will move through the treatments with your pair. After each treatment, coming back to the lounge to enjoy the platter and drinks while we reset the rooms!
  • All you need to bring is a change of underwear/swimmers for the sauna
  • We LOVE if you take selfies/videos and tag us on social media!
  • Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your booked time to fill out forms
  • Our latest beginning time on a weekend is 1pm
  • Our latest beginning time on a weekday is 5pm
  • Sundays have an additional surcharge of 10%
  • Pregnant women can only have the Salt Therapy due to unsuitability with the other treatments, we recommend they don’t attend as the price is still $150
